slate roof restoration in biltmore forest

This lovely historic home located in Biltmore Forest, North Carolina, had suffered damage after a storm passed through the area towards the end of 2019. Our dedicated team worked to restore the gorgeous slate roof back to its original self in January 2020.

The crew arrived to see this gorgeous slate roof on the garage in a state of despair with missing pieces and leaf and stick buildup. An entire section of this roof needed repairing, which involved some takeoff for new, matching slates to be put back on. Slates used for this roof were a blend of Greenstone Slate’s Vermont Strata and Gray slates.

After carefully installing the new slates, along with a cleaning, the roof looks as beautiful as the day it was first installed!
