This home features Alaskan Yellow Cedar Shingles which we installed on both the roof and siding, giving the home a peaceful uniformity. A rarer wood species, Alaskan Yellow Cedar is noted for its natural oils and tannins, giving a 30-50+ year lifespan to the shingles. Their pale yellow color will eventually fade out into a silvery gray.
